A Gym With Roots
At The LittleGiant Muay Thai, everything we do begins with heart. Founded in 2021, our gym started as a simple dream in Falls Church and has grown into one of the region’s most respected martial arts academies—not because of flashy ads or fancy gear, but because of the passion and people behind it.
This journey began with humble beginnings and a commitment to share real Muay Thai and Muay Boran as they are taught and lived in Thailand. Our classes come directly from the source, guided by instructors who have lived and breathed the art since childhood. From these roots, we’ve built a place where students of all backgrounds can find strength, growth, and purpose.

Core Benefits of Training at The LittleGiant Muay Thai

Your time matters. Our schedule is designed to work with school, work, and family life—so training can be a consistent, sustainable part of your week.

Our culture is built on respect. Students of all ages train in an ego-free, welcoming space where growth is guided and pressure is never forced.

Through disciplined training, students gain confidence, self-control, focus, and resilience. We don’t just build fighters—we shape people.

Led by instructors with authentic Thai roots and global fight experience, every class stays true to the art and spirit of Muay Thai.

Character-Building Through Every Strike
Yes, you’ll learn to strike, defend, and move with power. But what sets The LittleGiant apart is what happens beyond the pads. This gym is a place where kids develop confidence, teens find focus, and adults reconnect with their drive. We coach you to be strong not just in the ring, but in your mind and in your life.
Our classes emphasize discipline, respect, and personal responsibility. Whether you’re a first-time student or an aspiring fighter, we meet you where you are and help you push further than you though possible.
Every drop of sweat, every hard-earned lesson—it all adds up. And our instructors are right there with you, not just guiding you but walking the path with you.

Shaping Lives Through Muay Thai
We’re proud to be active members of the community and an official member of USA Muay Thai, the sport’s Olympic-recognized body. But our greatest pride is the role we play in our students’ lives.
When someone walks into The LittleGiant, they’re not just joining a gym. They’re becoming part of something meaningful. We see the change in every student: sharper focus, stronger character, deeper resilience. And when we see them walk taller in their lives—at home, at school, at work—we know we’ve done our job.
Our impact doesn’t end at the gym doors. From outreach events to youth mentorship, we believe in giving back. In showing up.
Words That Move Us
Stories That Speak for Themselves
When people walk through our doors, they bring their own hopes, challenges, and reasons for showing up. Some of the most powerful reflections we’ve received come from members of our community who found strength, healing, and purpose on these mats. Here are just a few of their words.

Since joining Little Giant Muay Thai a few months ago, I’ve embraced a new lifestyle of fitness and camaraderie. I was never an athlete; I always focused on my career since I was a teenager. I wish I had added this to my life earlier.
I’ve experienced a remarkable transformation, with my brain rewiring as I learn new coordination and fitness techniques I never knew before. It’s been an amazing journey. The coaching team is incredible—patient, professional, and supportive. I think the other 6 a.m. class members initially doubted that I would last long in this gym. However, thanks to the welcoming staff and fellow members who took the time to teach me and make me feel included, I’ve established a new routine for life.
I’m really happy with my decision to join and find myself impressing my own expectations with each class—not something this +50-year-old ever anticipated saying! In terms of health stats, since joining LGMT, I’ve seen a significant decrease in visceral and body fat, along with an increase in muscle mass. My physicians have told me that I’ve never been healthier, and my diabetes is now much easier to manage.
I look forward to each class for many reasons. I’m incredibly focused throughout the workday, and my diet and sleep have naturally improved to peak levels. I’m probably the last person you’d expect to see practicing Muay Thai; I had no idea what I was getting into but knew it would challenge me and I wanted to try it. Training with Kru Chon, Nate, Roger, Ayan, and the rest of the class has been an incredible opportunity and experience for me.
I can’t imagine my life without this now. I’m grateful to LGMT for the positive impact they’ve had on my life.

Training at Little Giant Muay Thai gym makes me feel like I’m back in Thailand again. This gym truly delivers an authentic Muay Thai experience. Kru Chon, Kru Eddie, and Kru Roger are all highly accomplished native Thai fighters with years of experience, both in the ring and as instructors. Their focus on technique and discipline has helped me grow stronger and more confident with each session. Beyond learning Muay Thai, I also get incredible cardio conditioning, strength training, and improved flexibility. The gym’s atmosphere feels like family—everyone pushes themselves to the limit while supporting each other along the way. The gym is spacious and well-equipped, making it the perfect place to train. Whether you’re looking to learn the art of Muay Thai, get in shape, or prepare for an official fight, Little Giant Muay Thai is hands down the best in the DMV.

When I began my journey with Muay Thai in 2020 I, as expected, had a lot to learn. In the beginning, getting some of the basic techniques down was difficult for me and I struggled a lot. At one point, I wanted to completely quit practicing because I felt that I just wasn’t capable of learning Muay Thai.
Fortunately, I kept at it; I took fundamental classes, watched a lot of videos, and eventually purchased a punching/kicking bag to practice new techniques at home. Things became a little easier, however, I still struggled with some of the concepts.
The following summer, my girlfriend called around to inquire about some gyms so that I could continue practicing while we were on vacation, and we stumbled upon The Little Giant. During our very first visit there, we were met with the warmest welcome and had the privilege of meeting the infamous little giant himself.
Suffice to say, Kru Chon is the best there is.
There is no other teacher I’ve met who is more dedicated, accommodating, innovative, and encouraging than he is. The staff is great as well. Nate, in particular, is a great communicator and has been so helpful every time I had to set up appointments. In addition, each instructor that I’ve had the privilege of learning from, be it through a private or group class, has helped me tremendously. From teachers to students, everyone has been supportive and uplifting.
Thanks to Kru Chon’s knowledge and guidance, I have progressed enormously in my Muay Thai journey. It is always the most humbling experience to train at the Little Giant and I could not be more grateful that I stumbled upon this gym all those years ago. Definitely recommend ten times over, you won’t regret it.

I’ve trained all across the east coast, and very few gyms maintain the positive growth-based environment that I see in this gym while keeping a high-training quality. You are either too good or not good enough to train with the pros in most places, and injuries are abundant — not at LittleGiant however. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level, everyone trains together whether it be a novice or pro fighter, the staff and instructors do their best to keep you safe and motivated, and most importantly everyone will make an effort to say hi, remember your name, and welcome you back eagerly. You’ll even learn to speak a little bit of thai yourself if you stay long enough!
LittleGiant Muaythai is a family, and I am happy to have found an incredible home-away-from-home.
